- Deadline: Friday, February 22, 2008
- Click here to download the prioritization (voting) form.
- Return the form to Cyndi Nobles (HESI) by fax at 202-659-3617.
- Voting is not restricted. HESI encourages votes from government, academia, and industry. Multiple votes from a single institution will be combined and/or weighted as appropriate.
Each year, HESI seeks broad input on emerging scientific issues that merit consideration for potential program development. In 2007, HESI conducted its annual survey for emerging scientific issues. From this survey, the HESI Emerging Issues Steering Committee (EISC) selected four topics for consideration in 2008. These topics were presented at the January 2008 HESI Annual Meeting in Puerto Rico (see below). After the voting deadline, the EISC will determine which topic warrants sufficient interest to initiate a subcommittee within the HESI scientific portfolio.
