Membership Information
HESI membership is open to companies that are producers of food, beverages, pharmaceuticals, cosmetics, agricultural and other chemicals, forestry and paper products, and personal care and household products. Committees are formed when a sufficient number of companies identify an issue of concern to the public and the membership that can be addressed through scientific efforts.
Assembly of Members
The HESI Assembly of Members currently consists of 45 companies from the United States, Europe, and Japan. These companies represent the chemical, agrochemical, petrochemical, pharmaceutical, biotechnology, and consumer products industries.

Membership Fees
HESI’s basic annual membership fees are based on members’ worldwide sales (most recently available year-end figures). The current fee schedule is shown on the membership application. Annual dues for membership are determined by the HESI Board of Trustees. Separate assessments are made for committee membership and support of their activities; such assessments are determined by the committee members themselves.
